Our Story
Sky View Igloo was built to honour two things: nature and our guests.
Located on the quiet hill of Ollerovaara, each igloo is carefully placed to face north — towards
the open sky, where northern lights and stars appear in their full beauty. The igloo has two
floors: the upper level is dedicated to the sky, while the lower floor offers a calm, cozy space to rest.
Everything has been designed to create the deepest feeling Lapland can offer — not only to be
seen, but to be sensed.
We believe in the power of sensation: the scent of natural wood, like hand-selected aspen, the
softness of textures, the quiet sounds of the forest. Every surface, scent, and sound is part of the
experience.
We also believe in emotion. Large windows open to the forest and sky, and each detail — from
materials to light — is designed to awaken something in you: peace, wonder, or even stillness.
We respect your time. Your expectations. Your longing to experience something true.
